Dr. Wanda Cook Batson
Dr. Wanda Batson is a life-long resident of Baker, Florida. She received her Associate of Arts degree from Okaloosa-Walton College and her Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 1994.
Dr. Batson is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Florida Optometric Association. She is a former officer for the West Florida Optometric Association. She is also a member of the Crestview Lions Club.
Dr. Batson opened her Crestview practice in 1997. She provides comprehensive eye care including treatment and management of glaucoma, pre- and post-operative cataracts, eye infections and the fitting of contact lenses and glasses. |

Dr. Amy E. Riggs
Dr. Amy Riggs grew up in Pensacola, Florida. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. She then went on to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. While at UAB, Dr. Riggs earned several awards for her academic and clinical excellence, including the Jess Boyd Eskridge Clinical Excellence Award, the Vistakon Eye Health Citizenship Award, and the Walman Optical Company Scholarship. Dr. Riggs graduated Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Optometry from UAB in 2004. She then completed a residency in Ocular Disease at OMNI Eye Services in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Riggs has published articles on ocular disease in Contemporary Optometry and Diagnostic Digest.
Dr. Riggs is a member of the American Optometric Association, the West Florida Optometric Association, and Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. She is also a member of the Crestview Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Riggs has volunteered on mission trips to Mountain City, TN and to Honduras where she provided eye care in rural areas.
Dr. Riggs joined Dr. Batson's practice in November 2005. She provides comprehensive eye care including the treatment and management of glaucoma, diabetic eye care, eye infections, minor eye injuries, pre- and post-operative cataracts and LASIK, pediatric eye care, and the fitting of contact lenses and glasses. |

Dr. Spears
Dr. Lea Spears grew up in Freeport, Florida. She received her Associate of Arts degree from Santa Fe Community College, and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at the University of Florida. She later graduated from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Spears is a member of the American Optometric Association and Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.
Dr. Spears is the most recent addition to Dr. Batson’s practice. She provides comprehensive eye care including treatment and management of glaucoma, diabetic eye care, eye infections, pre- and post-operative cataracts, pediatric eye care, and the fitting of contact lenses and glasses. |
